Description of specialties

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases. A pediatrician treats children from the age of two months to 18 years. The role of a pediatrician is not only to treat diseases, but a very important part of the pediatrician’s work is also prevention, consisting mainly of the control of the child’s vital and developmental parameters in the form of regular health balances and vaccinations.
