A specialist in internal medicine, nephrology and clinical transplantology, he graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok. He is currently head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Transplantology at the National Medical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Warsaw and the Department of Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Transplantology at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw. He completed a one-and-a-half-year research fellowship in clinical physiology at the Hamamatsu School of Medicine in Japan and a three-year research fellowship in biochemistry at Notre Dame University and the University of Vermont in the US. He has many years of professional experience and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, as well as kidney transplants.
