Dr. Magdalena Górska-Kosicka, M.D., graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin and began working at the Department of Hematooncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation in Lublin. She was awarded a doctorate in medical science in 2007, a specialist in internal medicine in 2008 and a specialist in hematology in 2012. Since 2013, she has worked at the Department of Hemostasis Disorders and Internal Diseases at the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion in Warsaw. Her professional interests include diagnosing and treating hemorrhagic diathesis, venous thromboembolism and thrombotic microangiopathies. She is also a lecturer on hemorrhagic diathesis and thrombotic microangiopathies at courses organized by the Center for Medical Postgraduate Education and teaches medical students from Lazarski University. At HiperMedica Medical Center, Dr. Gorska-Kosicka gives telephone consultations on hemorrhagic diathesis, venous thromboembolism, thrombotic microangiopathies and thrombophilia.
