Wioletta Makowska, MD, is a specialist in endocrinology, hematology and internal medicine. She completed her specialty training in endocrinology at the Department of Endocrinology of the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education at Bielański Hospital in Warsaw. I deal with the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders, including diseases of the thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s disease, nodular goiter), hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid and other endocrine glands, as well as problems related to obesity. I also deal with hematological diseases of the hematopoietic system (anemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms) and coagulation disorders and thrombophilia.
